Note - for best results, connect the TV output directly to the TV. This process may not work correctly if the signal goes through a VCR first.

  1. Connect the TV to either the RCA composite or the S-Video output on the back of the video card (it will have to be one or the other, it cannot be both).
  2. Make certain the TV is set to display the video input you have selected to use.
  3. Reboot the computer.
  4. Right-click on the desktop and choose Properties
  5. Choose the Settings tab at the top.
  6. Note: In the middle of this window, you should see a graphical representation of two displays - numbers 1 and 2.

  7. Click once on the Number 1 display in the middle of the window to select it.
  8. Click the Advanced button
  9. Click the Displays tab at the top

  13. Click the Apply button at the bottom.
  14. If you get a box that says The Settings Have Been Applied, click OK.
  15. You may see a change in the size of the display on the monitor - this is normal.
