Kajabi Platform Review & FAQs

The online marketing scene is becoming more crowded and competitive every single year, so I personally know that it’s a tough decision deciding if Kajabi is best platform for you.

I’ll do my best to answer all your questions in this Kajabi review and I’ll continue to update it every single month.

This Kajabi Review is going to cover the following topics. Feel free to skip to any particular section that you are looking for...

This is an independent Kajabi review by an actual user of the platform

What Is Kajabi & How Does It Work?

Kajabi is considered one of the best “all-in-one” software platforms in the market. It simplifies the entire process of building a website or landing page, creating an online course,  using email marketing in your business and ultimately selling your course or digital product.

The thing I like most about being a user of Kajabi is that it replaces a lot of other software that I would normally need to use for my business.

This saves me a ton of money on subscription costs.

What Software Can Kajabi Replace?

If used correctly, Kajabi can replace the need for a number of other software applications. Let's take a look at just some of the software subscriptions you can save money on if you decide to move your business over to Kajabi.

Kajabi has "pipelines" which is the part of the platform that helps you build fully functional marketing funnels including sales pages, email automations and product delivery.

Once you sign up to Kajabi you don't need to worry about trying to integrate with a third-party email service, it's all right there in your Kajabi dashboard.

Not only does Kajabi allow you to built great sales funnels, you can also build a full-blown website complete with unlimited pages and a blog, if that's something you're into.

Kajabi is considered the most superior online course platform around so obviously you're not going to need any of these guys to host your online course.

Does this mean that Kajabi can do everything that these platforms can? No, but this really depends what features you need for your business.

If you're an ecommerce seller for example, you'll still need to get started with Shopify if you want to sell physical products.

Many multi-million dollar online entrepreneurs use Kajabi for their entire business. I’ve written about some of them further down in this article.

You can still integrate Kajabi with many third-party software apps which we’ll discuss later but for now, let’s take a look inside Kajabi and the different functions it performs.

Features Of The Kajabi Platform

The Kajabi platform is broken up into 4 main sections which I’ll briefly explain below.

Website - This is where you manage your entire website and blog.

Products - If you have anything at all that you’re selling, whether it’s a course or a simple digital product, you can manage it all from this section.

Marketing - Pipelines, email flows and more. This is where you setup the sales part of your online business.

People - All of your contacts and leads are here, but it’s much nicer to call them "people" isn’t it? :)

Now that you have an idea of what the 4 main sections are, let’s dive into the features of the platform and how they can be used for your business.

Kajabi Pipelines

A Kajabi Pipeline is essentially a sales funnel. Kajabi Pipeline’s allow you to send traffic to a landing page, like an opt-in page, and capture their details.

Kajabi offers a range of pre-designed landing pages to make this process easier for you.

Email Marketing With Kajabi

Once you’ve setup your landing page, you’ll want to make sure you are sending emails to your leads that opt-in.

Kajabi has a built-in email platform and plenty of pre-written emails to send to your new list that you’re generating with your Pipeline.

Building A Website With Kajabi

A website is different to a pipeline in the way that it is more of a static “storefront” for your brand.

Your Kajabi website may have information about you and your business, sections about the services you offer and it may even contain a blog.

Kajabi offers a large number of website theme templates for you to use with your business.

Is Kajabi Good For SEO?

If you’re blogging or you want to climb up the Google rankings and get more organic traffic, you’ll need to know a thing or two about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

WordPress is usually the first pick when it comes to serious blogging, but Kajabi has very similar capabilities and there is no reason why you couldn’t run a successful online blog with Kajabi.

If you’re getting super technical and want full control and flexibility WordPress has more options than Kajabi however, no other online course platform comes close to what Kajabi can offer in terms of building a website or blog.

Kajabi Pricing

The Kajabi pricing structure is split into three plans. Basic starts at $119 per month, Growth Starts at $159 per month and the Kajabi Pro Plan $319 per month.

These are annual prices so you will pay 20% more if you want to pay monthly.

Here's a question that gets asked quite a lot...

Why Is Kajabi So Expensive?

As online marketers we’ve been conditioned to “cheap” monthly platform pricing from major players like Clickfunnels and their over-the-top “value stacks”.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the sales funnel builder in Clickfunnels but to truly match the features of Kajabi you would need to be on the $297 per month Clickfunnels plan and even then you still wouldn’t have all the same functionality.

I don’t want to make this a Clickfunnels bashing article because I’ve always been a user and supporter of theirs, but they are just a different platform to Kajabi.

The point I’m trying to make here is that Kajabi is not expensive when you take into account all of the platforms that it can replace in your business.

If you use Kajabi, you won’t need to have a sales funnel builder like Clickfunnels, email software like ActiveCampaign, WordPress website hosting and more.

The savings add up very quickly, not to mention the convenience of having all your online marketing software in the one place inside the Kajabi dashboard.

Kajabi Integrations

There are a number of third-party integrations offered inside the Kajabi platform.

Users can also integrate with Zapier which opens up the option to integrate with a heap of other apps that are not natively integrated with Kajabi already.

Email Service Provider Integrations

If you still prefer to use another email platform rather than the in-built email features of Kajabi, you can seamlessly integrate with the following:

  • Aweber
  • Mailchimp
  • Drip
  • ConvertKit
  • ActiveCampaign

Kajabi and ClickFunnels Integration

Given that ClickFunnels is so popular in the sales funnel space, its no surprise that you can natively integrate it with Kajabi.

The main idea of this integration is to capture leads and/or make a sale in ClickFunnels and then pass the customer information into Kajabi in order to provide access to the product.

Kajabi Analytics Integrations

Measuring the performance of your online assets is critical. Kajabi integrates with the following analytics apps:

  • Segment
  • Google Analytics
  • Facebook Pixel

How to Sell My Kajabi Course

This is a very common question and it really is the "secret" to a successful course. Sure, you can create the best course on the planet inside your Kajabi account but if no one buys it, all that effort is wasted!

Here are some ways you can drive traffic to your Kajabi course and make some sales.

YouTube Ads

There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to this platform, but you can start off learning YouTube Ads for beginners from plenty of places. You should look at investing in a YouTube Ads course at some stage too.

Google Search Ads

Google actually owns YouTube so once you learn how to run ads on one of the platforms,  you'll be familiar with the dashboard for the other because they are all controlled via the Google Ads dashboard.

A search ad is what shows up at the top of a Google search so if people are looking for the topic of your course, you might want to consider search ads.

Facebook Ads

Facebook ads are a great form of "interruption marketing". This means you can stop people in their scroll and if your ad is well targeted and eye-catching enough, you might interrupt their scroll and entice them to click your ad!

Online Forums

Forums like Quora, Reddit and other places online where people chat and ask questions are always great to promote your course. Don't spam your course links everywhere though otherwise you'll get banned.

Engage in meaningful conversation and help people out that are in your niche.
